Hostamina Web Hosting - Day 1 - What Hooked Me?
So, I was rummaging around the web hosting scum of the web, going through the typical overloading crap hosts when I stumbled upon a relatively new face in the industry, Hostamina. Whenever you hang around the WebHostingTalk.com forums this sort of thing is bound to happen. At any rate, I started checking it out with the usual cynicism I would any host, especially new, and at first I saw nothing special about it, nothing at all.
Before I move on, I would just like to make a note of the fact that just because a web host doesn't look special, doesn't mean anything. It could very well be the best web host in the world, and you really won't know until you scratch the surface.
Oddly, on this random summer day, I felt the need to scratch the surface. I just kept asking myself, what if? What if this web host turned out to be my equivalent to "the one" (aka Neo) in The Matrix? What if this web host could possibly become my ultimate savior?
And I must say, I'm quite glad I did.
So what did actually hook me? Well, after my slight inclination to dig a little deeper, I decided to send them an email. To make a long story short, I received a personal response in approximately 30 seconds from the owner!!! Yea, the owner. Now, I know being able to do this 24/7 is a physical impossibility, but it happened to me, so what could I do? I simply had to dig deeper.
Next thing I know I'm finding out the owner (or at least the one i was talking to since there are actually two of them) is a Computer Science major with a business minor at the prestigious Johns Hopkins university...so obviously the guy has his shit together (pardon my language). At that point I was just thinking, if someone this smart is running a company, and cares enough to talk to me, ONE CUSTOMER, for this long, personally, just to get me to simply give him a chance, I'm sure as hell going to.
And so began my seemlingly never-ending tenure at Hostamina.com.

High Quality Web Hosting
Every website owner/creator/to-be-owner/to-be-creator/ anything-else-related-to-needing-web-hosting-er wants and needs high quality web hosting. Without quality, web hosting is essentially useless. After all, no quality means no consistent uptime and no reliability, both of which are mandatory for maintaining a solid web presence and meeting objectives. Thus, the search begins for high quality web hosting, which most likely is what landed you here. I myself have been through many web hosts over the years, but now I've found one that I can honestly say I'm %99 sure I will never leave.
Who is this almighty web host that provides high quality web hosting that has somehow managed to secure my undying love? Well, if I told you now that would ruin the story, and who likes spoilers?
But then again...maybe I'll break up the story, put it in multiple pages, a day by day of what happened, because after all I have been taking notes. You tend to keep track of everything when you've been through as many different web hosts as I have (otherwise it's mind numbing).
At any rate, I suppose I'll let you know which web host it is, otherwise you'll end up having to read all my posts wondering, and that might get somewhat annoying, especially if you are in urgent need of web hosting. The host is....drum roll.....Hostamina. Their website can be found at www.hostamina.com. Web Hosting is their middle name....not really. But the service they provide is extremely personalized and helpful to the point where I literally wanted to cry...but somehow, I managed to hold back the tears....(sarcasm). But honestly, their service IS really really good. You would be surprised how much a company can actually care about their customers.
Anyway, that's enough of an overview for now, check out my following posts for more of the nitty gritty details on how I managed to fall in love with this web host.
